One To Watch: The Blogger We’re Head Over (Jimmy Choo) Heels For

“Layering, layering, layering!” said Hannah Crosskey, as she explains how she dresses so effortlessly chic for winter. This fabulously elegant lady is the editor of her personal style blog, A Fashion Fix, and we certainly get our fix of fashion from her.

A personal shopper for Brighton’s Topshop, she started her blog almost two years ago in 2013 and since then has seen thousands flock to her social media in search of serious sartorial inspiration. Not to mention cute pictures of her adorable French bulldog, Hugo.

“I find it much easier to dress other people, which is part of the reason I became a personal shopper for Topshop,” she says, “When it comes to myself, I have to admit, I am a little clueless. I tend to stick to things I feel comfortable in rather than what’s ‘on trend’. You can never go wrong with Zara though, even if it may seem absurdly unfashionable, you can guarantee it will look effortless and just ‘cool’” she laughs.
...
From Jimmy Choo to Primark, Miss (soon to be Mrs as she recently became engaged!) Crosskey mixes high street and high end to create the unique sense of style she has. “I still look too good old Primark for the basics and occasionally will pick up an absolute steal. But in truth, my heart lies with the utterly expensive brands like Celine and Chanel. My heart lies there, my budget doesn’t, unfortunately.”

It’s not just fashion that she has an eye for, from the snippet views of her house she lives in with her fiancée which she posts, you can see she is chic in every aspect. Twenty eight thousand followers on her Instagram is proof alone that she is one to watch. “Uh, I absolutely adore home interior shopping. I am completely addicted to anything white and marble, which is the least practical colour to have in a home with a puppy,” she explains, “and just like the clothes, Zara Home is my all-time favourite place to shop for home ware.”

The big wedding day is quickly approaching as she is “marrying her best friend”, Leyton Orient footballer, Dean Cox, in June this year, “Oh my god, I am so excited and nervous and worried and just every emotion possible right now. These last two years have flown by and now the big day is arriving so very quickly. I have nearly everything ready as I am an overly organised person by nature, but I keep thinking I might have forgotten something.

Of course when prompted for details about the dress, she kept it under wraps: “I couldn’t possibly reveal any details but it is my dream dress. All I will say is it’s quite sparkly, which usually isn’t my sort of thing, but in a nice, non-gypsy-weddings sort of way. And Hugo will definitely be attending, we even got him a little suit outfit!”

We’re hoping we will get to see a glance into the beautiful couple’s wedding, as no doubt it will be elegant and glamorous.
